"Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. It is administered by "laying on hands" and is based on the idea that an unseen "life force energy" flows through us and is what causes us to be alive. Sound healing differs depending on the person who is administering the healing, and on the person receiving. "Sound Healing, as the name implies, is the use of sound to create balance and alignment in: the physical body, the energy centers called “chakras”, and/or the etheric fields.  Each healing session will be completely unique because the vocalizations are all improvised in the moment changing based on the energy of the client. As the client, you are always welcome to let me know if a particular sound/interval is bothering you. Often times the sounds I am called to make are to help move energy, and this can sometimes be uncomfortable.
